What to expect at the Rent Manager User Conference - RMUC team at RMUC.23

The 2024 Rent Manager User Conference (RMUC) is just around the corner—November 4th to 7th at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, California. This annual event brings professionals together from across the country to network and immerse themselves in all things Rent Manager and the property management industry.

This year will mark the 16th RMUC, and as usual, the conference team is aiming to bring an even bigger and more unforgettable conference experience than in years past. But what makes the RMUC such a special event? From the spectacular sessions to the powerful lineup of sponsors and speakers, the Rent Manager team makes sure there’s something at RMUC for everyone.

While we still have a little way to go before November, here’s a rundown of all the incredible things you can expect from RMUC this year and every year!

Unique Locations & Themes

Rent Manager users are based throughout the United States and worldwide. That’s why each year we choose a different location across the country to give all our customers the opportunity to come, regardless of their home base. Traversing the continental US, 2024 brings us to Palm Springs, where we fully expect to immerse ourselves in the unique culture of the California desert. Our host hotel, the JW Marriott, has a unique history as the last public location where Frank Sinatra performed. The Sinatra references are plentiful throughout the hotel, and our Opening Reception’s rat pack theme pays homage to Ol’ Blue Eyes, himself.

Past conferences have taken us all over the country, from Dallas to Orlando to Las Vegas. No matter where we end up, you can always expect a one-of-a-kind experience for all our attendees.

Intensive Informational Bootcamps & Sessions

The number one thing we want RMUC attendees to walk away with at the end of the week is knowledge, which is why we pack our schedule full of informational sessions and activities. While some have only been using the software for a short time, others are 10+ year veterans, and we make sure there will be new and exciting information that everyone can learn from, no matter their skill level.

The week begins with two bootcamp courses—one for beginners that covers the basics of the software, and another for more advanced users to bring their understanding and utilization of Rent Manager to the next level. Then, throughout the week, attendees can create a custom itinerary of sessions, ranging from instructor-led courses to panel discussions hosted by knowledgeable Rent Manager employees or other property management industry powerhouses. Each year, the sessions bring something new to the table, with employee presenters going through an audition process and months of refinement to ensure top value from the topics presented. This variety in programming ensures that so no two conferences are ever the same, so attending year after year can continue to be a benefit to our customers.

Spectacular Social Events

While sessions and education are the mainstays of the conference, the Rent Manager User Conference isn’t all work and no play. From the Opening Reception to the Premier Social Event, our team provides plenty of opportunities for attendees to kick back, relax, and network with other property management professionals and Rent Manager employees. The Premier Social Event, taking place the second night of the conference, is always a hit, with loads of live entertainment, food and drinks, and sights to see that take advantage of everything the host location has to offer.

The 2024 Premier Social Event will be held at Big League Dreams, a unique venue that’s home to scaled-down replicas of famous baseball stadiums across the country. Attendees can expect a night of fun themed around America’s pastime—with a live band, DJ, and plenty of high-octane activities to keep them busy!

Powerful Networking Opportunities

The last few User Conferences have boasted an attendance of over 1,000 property management professionals. Including our sponsors, this gathering of those in the property management industry is a fantastic opportunity for attendees to build crucial professional connections that can enhance their business. To facilitate networking outside of the social events, we host a mid-week Power Hour, where attendees can traverse Innovation Hall and chat with fellow RMUC attendees and our sponsors. Each providing a product or service that helps Rent Manager customers make the most of their business, our sponsors give our attendees many options to create custom solutions for their day-to-day operations. This year, 75 companies will be joining us in Palm Springs, ready to showcase just how much their partnerships with Rent Manager can enhance our attendees’ experience of the software.

The Rent Manager Experience

Finally, in the spirit of always trying to add new experiences and value to the conference, we have added an entirely new area to RMUC.24. In The Rent Manager Experience, attendees can visit Rent Manager informational booths such as Strategic Solutions, Rent Manager Sales, or IT Services; get live help with the software from product support either in-person or via a video call; study and take a practice exam before becoming Rent Manager Certified on-site; and even purchase Rent Manager-branded gear at the merchandise booth. This smorgasbord of Rent Manager content will give attendees a close look at everything the software can accomplish, as well as showcase all our new and upcoming features.
