Bring out the cake and light the candles… it’s time to celebrate! In addition to honoring fathers on Sunday, June 16, we commemorated the release of the 100th episode of Rent Manager’s podcast—Beyond Rent!

Launched in 2020, Beyond Rent explores every facet of the property management industry, and is a way to connect with Rent Manager users and our integrated providers. With each episode, Joe Easton, Rent Manager’s Senior Channel Partner Manager, sits down with a special guest to discuss the latest industry news and trends. “Rent Manager has always been a great source of information as it relates to our software products, features, and services for our customers,” explained Joe. “However, what we didn’t have was a platform to talk to the industry about the industry. That’s why we launched Beyond Rent. We saw a huge opportunity to provide a place to converse with the property management industry about the issues that matter most.”

The podcast’s listenership has grown 29% YOY since its launch, with a total of 291,570 minutes streamed in 2023. Further, episodes released last year received 9,719 downloads in 88 countries around the world.

100th Episode of Beyond Rent

Beyond Rent’s 100th episode—featuring Don Brunner, President and CEO of BRG Realty Group, LLC—focuses on his experience of more than 20 years in the industry. Don speaks about the growth in technology adoption by property managers and BRG’s strategy to add new technology to their operations. He also discusses how important it is to set employees up for success by connecting them to education and networking opportunities. Further, Don shares his thoughts on current challenges in property management and possibilities for future growth. Check out the 100th episode here.

As we reflect on this milestone, we also invite you to revisit our very first episode titled Communication Silos.

The Future for Beyond

The future for Beyond Rent is extremely bright. “Beyond Rent’s goal is to continue having high-value conversations that empower the industry to make an impact on how housing is provided,” shared Joe. “We will accomplish this by hosting a wide range of guests to discuss an equally wide range of topics.”

New episodes of Beyond Rent are released bi-weekly on Sundays.
