The Rent Manager Development team continues to create and enhance features to simplify your processes and help grow your business. In case you missed it, several exciting features have come to Rent Manager in the last few months. So, we’re recapping our most recent Release Notes updates to share new processes and workflows that can work for you.

April Release Notes

We’ve reformatted more than 90 reports in Rent Manager Express—including at least 60 financial statements—with a modern, streamlined design. We’ve also significantly improved the formatting of Excel exports—eliminating merged cells and improving alignment—so that it’s much easier to organize data exported from Express and quickly apply logic or calculations to it.

Usability and functionality improvements were made to both the Add Issue wizard and the Issue Details page in Rent Manager Express, making it quicker and more intuitive to add new issues; link them to tenants, properties, or units; and update other relevant information in your system. You can also continuously add service issues by clicking the Save & New button at the bottom of the wizard.

May Release Notes

Save valuable time and energy managing prospects in Rent Manager with new enhanced Bulk Actions capabilities. Effortlessly change the stage and status of multiple accounts with just a few clicks and spruce up your prospect list in no time by deleting several applicants at once. Whether using Rent Manager Express or Rent Manager 12, managing your prospects has never been simpler. Access these new functions through the Bulk Actions button in Rent Manager Express or with a simple right-click in Rent Manager 12.

You can easily review and manage your Rent Manager users’ general information with our new User Listing Report. Quickly access essential details, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, roles, and more.

June Release Notes

Verify applicants’ income without the need for pay stubs! With Income Verification, a licensed feature powered by AmRent, you can begin the verification process in Rent Manager with the click of a button. From there, applicants receive a secure link via text or email that allows them to connect their bank account, and then their income report is uploaded to the software for your review. This new resource simplifies your approval process and significantly reduces the risk of fraud.

We’re excited to announce enhancements to the Blue Moon lease-creation process, designed to simplify and streamline your experience. Forms are now selected earlier in the Rent Manager wizard, which automatically narrows down the fields on subsequent pages, saving you time and reducing complexity. Locked and required fields from your Blue Moon setup are clearly displayed and enforced, ensuring higher data accuracy and consistency. We’ve also introduced a new privilege for locked fields that allows you to control who can edit them, delivering better security and control over your data.
