The Rent Manager Development team continues to create and enhance features to streamline your processes and help grow your operation. In case you missed it, several exciting features have come to Rent Manager in the last few months. So, we’re recapping our most recent Release Notes updates to share new processes and workflows that can work for you.

October Release Notes

The Prospect Leasing Board makes it easier than ever to track the status of prospective renters and ensure essential follow-up steps are handled promptly. This intuitive, Kanban-style board gives you a clear view of where each prospect stands, with custom stages tailored to your process. Leverage prospect stage triggers that automatically advance prospective renters through their stages—now with four new triggers—and stay informed with automated notifications whenever a stage changes.

We’ve made noteworthy updates to our Standard Management Fees feature, giving you greater control and flexibility. Now you can collect fees on charges covered by specific credits (like security deposits) and on partial pass-throughs. Plus, you have the option to include pass-throughs on the Management Fee Breakdown report, providing a complete picture of the fees. These enhancements make it simpler than ever to streamline your owner statements and efficiently manage fees across your properties.

November Release Notes

Streamline invoice processing with Smart Bills, powered by Orion AI, in Rent Manager Express. Using AI to extract data from PDF and image invoices, Smart Bills creates draft transactions for easy review before posting, eliminating manual entry and reducing errors. Plus, vendors can send invoices directly to a dedicated inbox for automatic upload. Smart Bills is a licensed feature—for more information, please contact your Sales Representative at Sales@RentManager.com.

You can now link multiple bills to a single purchase order (PO), eliminating the need for duplicate POs and ensuring accurate tracking at every step. This enhancement also offers seamless billed-quantity tracking within Rent Manager, complete with built-in safeguards to prevent overpayments.
