This year’s Rent Manager User Conference in Palm Springs was truly an Oasis of Innovation for property management professionals. Taking place from November 4th-7th at the gorgeous JW Marriott Desert Springs, RMUC.24 blended paradise with cutting-edge insights to offer a week of social events, impactful sessions, and invaluable networking opportunities.
Now that the Rent Manager team has had some time to recuperate and reflect on the incredible week in California, we wanted to share our favorite highlights from RMUC.24 so we can relive the memories and magic.
Rent Manager Bootcamps to Kick Off RMUC
RMUC.24 began with the Rent Manager Administrator and Core Bootcamps, designed to help attendees become Rent Manager pros before the week officially commenced. These immersive sessions were the perfect entryway to the week, preparing attendees to dive into the conference with confidence. With hands-on training in a Palm Springs-inspired setting, participants left these sessions ready to make the most of RMUC.24.
“The Best Is Yet to Come” Opening Reception
To celebrate the official start of the conference, RMUC.24 played host to The Best Is Yet to Come Opening Reception–a Frank Sinatra-inspired night that turned back time to the golden age of swing. Attendees dressed in their rat pack finest, danced to live big band tunes, and were serenaded by a Sinatra lookalike who set the perfect mood for an exciting week of new connections. Our attendees were living large in the glitz and glam of the evening, building energy for what was shaping up to be an amazing week ahead.
Keynote Address: Rent Manager Growth & Updates
One of the most anticipated moments of RMUC.24 was the Keynote Address by Rent Manager’s President and CEO, Dave Hegemann. With a focus on growth and innovation, Dave highlighted Rent Manager’s latest successes and revealed exciting new features on the horizon. The biggest surprise? The announcement that the 2025 Rent Manager User Conference will take place in sunny San Diego at the brand new Gaylord Pacific! This inspiring address set the tone for the conference and energized attendees with a vision of what’s to come.
“The Desert Oasis of Learning”
RMUC.24 offered an educational oasis with 75 sessions across eight specialized tracks, for property managers and Rent Manager users of all experience levels. From practical workshops to innovative panel discussions, the sessions covered everything attendees needed to elevate their expertise in Rent Manager and property management. This ensured that every participant took home valuable strategies and new skills to boost their business.
Big League Dreams Premier Social Event
Next, The Big League Dreams Premier Social Event brought RMUC.24 attendees to a one-of-a-kind venue packed with replicas of famous baseball stadiums. Set against the backdrop of America’s favorite pastime, the event included games, a live band performance, and a breathtaking drone light show. It was a night of celebration, camaraderie, and a perfect mix of fun and networking under the desert stars!
The Rent Manager Experience
New for 2024, RMUC attendees got to explore The Rent Manager Experience—a one-stop shop for all things related to the software. This interactive space gave attendees access to hands-on product support, an exclusive Rent Manager merchandise booth, opportunities to become Rent Manager Certified, and face-to-face time with our experts. It was the perfect opportunity for attendees to combine assistance, resources, and relaxation in one convenient location.
“Let’s Flamingle!” Power Hour
In true Palm Springs paradise fashion, the Let’s Flamingle! Power Hour brought attendees and sponsors together for a networking session in Innovation Hall. Featuring two special guests—a pair of real flamingos ready to pose for photo ops—this tropical networking hour made connecting with our 75 sponsors as fun as it was fruitful. Attendees mingled with industry leaders, discovered new solutions, and enjoyed a lively hour of fun connections.
The Closing Ceremony: A Grand Finale Featuring rmTrivia
Finally, the week in Palm Springs concluded with a lively rmTrivia Closing Ceremony. Hosted by Chief Customer Experience Officer Chris Griesinger, attendees were quizzed with multiple choice questions to test their Rent Manager knowledge and compete for coveted prizes. A fitting end to an incredible week, the rmTrivia event combined friendly competition, education, and a shared sense of community to wrap up our closing ceremony.
We’ll See You at RMUC.25 in San Diego
Attendees and employees alike packed their bags and headed home from RMUC.24 feeling inspired, equipped with new skills, and excited for all that’s to come for next year’s conference. With the knowledge gained and connections made, the coming months are sure to be filled with growth and innovation for all our customers. We look forward to returning to the sunshine state for RMUC.25 to experience another year of networking, innovation, and learning—we’ll see you in October!
