REGISTRATION FOR RMUC.19 CLOSES ON AUGUST 30th
The 2019 Rent Manager User Conference (RMUC) is right around the corner and is sure to be an event your team won’t want to miss! With more than 75 sessions and customized learning tracks tailored to fit you and your expertise—all set in the entertainment capital of the world—this year’s conference is shaping up to be the best one yet! If you’re new to Rent Manager or you’re simply looking to learn more before you register, look no further. This Beginner’s Guide will give you an inside look at what RMUC.19 will have in store for you and your team.
What is RMUC?
The Rent Manager User Conference is our annual gathering of customers from around North America and beyond, hosted in a new destination city every year. It’s a unique opportunity to hear from experts on the latest industry trends; get in-depth, guided instruction from the Rent Manager staff; and connect with other property management professionals… all while experiencing unforgettable fun and entertainment!
With more than 75 sessions available this year, there are so many options to expand your Rent Manager and property management knowledge. Choose from eight customized session tracks and get live product demos and one-on-one support. You will also have the chance to become Rent Manager Certified, as well as earning NARPM and CPE credits.
The RMUC also offers a variety of chances to connect and network with peers. From social events to Collaboration sessions—it’s an opportunity to have meaningful conversations with others in the property management industry, including the Rent Manager staff. Not only that, but there are chances every day to interact with vendors and other property management experts.
The RMUC is all about gaining exposure to business-changing technology; industry trends; and professional peers, and then taking that knowledge and inspiration back home to grow and strengthen your operation!

A day (or 4) in the life of an RMUC attendee
Monday, October 7th
8:00 AM – 5:30 PM: Registration Opens
Your plane lands in sunny Las Vegas and you disembark, excited for the week ahead. You make your way to Red Rock Resort & Casino and check in to your room. Registration is open for most of the day so you and your team can take your time (or hurry up) in getting to RMUC.19.
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Rent Manager Bootcamp
You’re newer to the software, so you’ve signed up for Rent Manager Bootcamp. This comprehensive training session teaches the core skills required to successfully manage your properties within the software. This combination of live instruction and firsthand practice gets you ready for a week of Rent Manager immersion.
3:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Sponsor Exhibit Hall Sneak Peek
Let’s say you opted out of Rent Manager Bootcamp this time. What do you do? You head over for a sneak peek of RMUC.19’s Sponsor Exhibit Hall! You talk with vendors and get a scope of who you want to have longer conversations with later in the week. You get to visit each booth before the conference even truly kicks off!
7:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Opening Reception— “Splashback in Time”
After a day of refreshing your Rent Manager skills, it’s time for the fun to truly begin—head on down to Red Rock Resort pool for the Opening Reception! Make a splash with your fellow attendees and the Rent Manager staff at this vintage-inspired pool party—a peachy keen get-together featuring drinks, light hors d’ oeuvres, and great company. The Opening Reception is your introduction to the conference experience and is the perfect opportunity to network with like-minded industry peers. And the best part is it’s 100% included in your conference registration fee!
Tuesday, October 8th
8:15 AM – 9:45 AM: Keynote Address delivered by Rent Manager President and CEO, Dave Hegemann
You wake up excited because it’s time for the official kickoff to RMUC.19—The Keynote Address. Rent Manager founder and CEO, Dave Hegemann, will give you an inside look at the roadmap for the company and what’s on the horizon. He’ll also unveil the latest enhancements coming to the software, introduce the Rent Manager staff, and announce the destination for RMUC.20.
10:15 AM – 5:15 PM: Breakout Sessions (with breaks)
Break out your laptop/tablet/notepad because it’s time to get busy learning! The rest of the day will be jam-packed with educational sessions to grow your understanding of the program and teach you plenty of ways to optimize your operation. Day one sessions include Tenant Communication Shortcuts, Mastering the Main Screen, Analyzing Your Financials, and The Science Behind a Maintenance Experience, just to name a few.
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Party Like Gatsby Social Event
With a full day of learning in the books, it’s time to have some more fun. The most anticipated event every year, RMUC.19’s Social Event is a Gatsby-themed soiree. Get in the spirit of the event by donning your 20s-inspired glad rags and head to the Red Rock Ballrooms for a night of speakeasy cocktails, splendid food, swanky live music, and casino-style gaming!

Wednesday, October 9th
8:30 AM – 3:45 PM: Breakout Sessions continue (with breaks)
It’s the final full day of RMUC.19, and another day of compelling education awaits. Start your day with a session focused on creating a custom, integrated website for your properties, then join Dave Hegemann and Rachel Huizenga, our Director of Human Resources, for a conversation about recruiting a winning team. In between sessions, head to the Sponsor Exhibit Hall to learn more about all of this year’s sponsoring vendors. Then, it’s back to class! A few topics covered in the afternoon sessions are Exploring the Rent Manager API Ecosystem, Diffusing Angry Tenants, and Workflow Management.
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: The FIRST-EVER RMUC Speaker Showcase, Featuring Bill Walton
The inaugural RMUC Speaker Showcase is sure to be an unforgettable experience. Basketball legend Bill Walton is one of sports’ most recognizable and beloved figures. His success on the court is well documented; the nation’s top college basketball star at UCLA under legendary coach John Wooden. After his playing career, Bill pursued broadcasting and has led a life of humility in service of inspiring others. As entertaining as he is insightful, Bill is widely considered one of the best speakers from the world of sports. This is a can’t-miss event, as you’ll leave his presentation entertained, inspired, and uplifted.
Following the Speaker Showcase, your final night at the RMUC is open for you to decide how to spend it. Explore the Red Rock Casino and Resort or head to the strip for the classic Las Vegas Experience. The choice is yours!
Thursday, October 10th
8:30 AM – 11:15 AM: Breakout Sessions continue (with breaks)
It’s the last day of the conference, but the learning and fun aren’t over just yet. Morning sessions include an Open Marketing Discussion, The Benefits of A/R Automation, Quick Conversations with Web Chat, and more.
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Closing Ceremony with host, Rob Anderson
Wrap up your week with us at the RMUC.19 Closing Ceremony! Magician and TV Host, Rob Anderson, is bringing his unique blend of illusion and comedy to help us close out the conference in perfect Las Vegas style. “The Magical Humanitarian” is sure to end your RMUC experience on a high note. You’ll be able to hang out with the Rent Manager team one last time in a relaxed and fun environment, and maybe even win a prize!
